Position Summary

The License Eligible Therapist - Addictions will utilize a strengths-based recovery-focused approach to facilitate addiction and dual diagnosis groups and individual/family therapy services to individuals with substance use disorders in an outpatient setting. This position will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that works with behavioral health professionals and primary care providers to provide integrated healthcare to the individuals we serve in order to achieve their identified goals.

About the Role

Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social drivers of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in four Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize a strengths-based recovery-focused approach to facilitate addiction and dual diagnosis groups and individual/family therapy services to individuals with substance use disorders in an outpatient setting.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide integrated healthcare to the individuals we serve in order to achieve their identified goals.
  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for individuals with substance use disorders.
  • Develop and implement individual/family therapy plans and group therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with primary care providers and other behavioral health professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other mental health related field accredited by the US Department of Education required.
  • Minimum two (2) years experience in related field required.
  • Community Mental Health experience highly preferred.
  • Must have excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills; knowledge of substance use disorders treatment.
  • Knowledge of social service systems, community resources, legal systems, and child welfare systems highly preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must have a temporary license to practice or be recognized as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) by the State of Indiana.
  • Recognized as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC) preferred.
  • Must be working towards full licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC).

Skills

  • Excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills.
  • Knowledge of substance use disorders treatment.
  • Knowledge of social service systems, community resources, legal systems, and child welfare systems.

$1,000 - $2,000 Signing Bonus Dependent on License
