About the role

Aspire Indiana Health is seeking an Addictions Therapist in Hamilton County.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize a strengths-based recovery-focused approach to facilitate addiction and dual diagnosis groups and individual/family therapy services to individuals with substance use disorders in an outpatient setting.
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team that includes behavioral health professionals and primary care providers to provide integrated healthcare to the individuals served.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other mental health related field accredited by the US Department of Education required.
  • Minimum two (2) years experience in related field required.
  • Community Mental Health experience highly preferred.
  • Must have excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills; knowledge of substance use disorders treatment.
  • Knowledge of social service systems, community resources, legal systems, and child welfare systems highly preferred.
  • Licensure: Must be recognized as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by the State of Indiana or license eligible.
  • Recognized as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC) by the State of Indiana, a plus.
