Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough, in-person and tele-health (remote) clinical assessments for clients with substance use disorders.
  • Utilize ASAM scoring to evaluate and determine the most appropriate level of care and treatment placement.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment recommendations based on assessment findings.
  • Collaborate with other clinical staff to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation.
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of addiction treatment.

Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted license as a Clinical Addiction Specialist (or equivalent licensure relevant to the role).
  • LCASA will be considered with substantial experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with the substance use population.
  • Proficiency in ASAM scoring and understanding of treatment placement criteria.
  • Strong assessment and clinical evaluation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred

  • Credentialed with LMEs and Health Plans.
  • Able to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

Contract Details

This is a contracted (exempt) position with a commitment of 1-2 days per week, (in office that is closest to you, other days can be remote) Monday through Friday, from 10 AM to 4 PM.
