Library Programming Specialist

Responsibilities

• Performs duties related to the planning and implementing of programs, creative activities, book discussions and programs for all ages.
• Affords assistance with social media promotions.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school.
• Ability to work well in a team setting.
• Ability to collaborate in creating fun entertaining events for all ages.
• Treats adults and children with respect.
• Enjoys creating visual aids and paper crafts geared toward school-aged children.
• Comfortable working in front of large groups of participants.
• Knowledge of basic computer use.
• Passes drug and background test before hire.
• Current driver's license with own transportation.
• Comfortable being recorded for on-line programs.
• Enthusiastic and has a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
