Library/Media Ed Tech III - Line Elementary and Shapleigh Memorial

Qualifications Desired

• State of Maine Educational Technician I, II, or III certification.
• Work Year - Full school year position, as determined by the MEA Bargaining Unit Contract.

Job Goal/Performance Responsibilities

• Positively interact with Pre-k through 5 grade students and staff.
• Have a strong background in children's literature and an understanding of audio-visual equipment and digital literacy.
• Maintain and operate a library (run lists, check in/out materials, shelve books, assist with inter-library loans, order books, and other library duties).
• Consult with the District Library Specialist.
• This position will be shared between Line and Shapleigh Memorial.

Physical Demands

• Frequently sit, stand, climb stairs, lift, bend, pull, push, walk, kneel, crouch, and perform other physical tasks that may be required from time to time.

Terms of Employment

• Hours, work year and working conditions to be established by the RSU 57 School Board.

Evaluation

• Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the School Board's policy on evaluation.
