Responsibilities

  • Manage your own portfolio of auto liability claims from first notice of loss through resolution while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Investigate automobile accidents by gathering facts and reviewing evidence.
  • Interview insureds, claimants, witnesses, and other involved parties.
  • Evaluate coverage, liability, damages, and potential injury exposure.
  • Make sound claim decisions based on policy language and the facts of each loss.
  • Negotiate fair and timely claim settlements.
  • Manage claim reserves and maintain accurate claim documentation.
  • Identify complex claim issues and collaborate with internal partners when needed.
  • Deliver clear, timely communication that builds trust with customers.
  • Balance quality, productivity, and customer service while managing an active caseload.
  • Continue developing your claims expertise through coaching, training, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • At least one year of automobile claims handling experience.
  • Strong communication skills with customers and business partners.
  • Ability to make thoughtful decisions based on facts and policy language.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ownership of your work and follow-through.
  • Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience handling non-standard automobile claims.
  • Adjuster's license or the ability to obtain one, where required.
  • Spanish-English bilingual skills.
