About the role

Pillars of Wellness is seeking a passionate and visionary clinician to serve as the LGBTQ+ Services Program Lead. This role is ideal for an experienced provider deeply committed to supporting LGBTQ+ individuals while leading and expanding culturally responsive mental health programming within a collaborative and innovative organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the LGBTQ+ Services Program, supporting both the clinical excellence and professional growth of the team.
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy to LGBTQ+ clients using culturally responsive and affirming approaches.
  • Facilitate LGBTQ+ Services group consultations and provide clinical guidance to Specialists and team members.
  • Collaborate with agency leadership to define program goals, outcomes, and community impact initiatives.
  • Support the development and implementation of LGBTQ+ affirming services, workshops, trainings, and best practices.
  • Recruit, mentor, and support LGBTQ+ Services Specialists and team members within the CoE framework.
  • Oversee and delegate program-related tasks, including outreach, training coordination, and community engagement efforts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, including schools, healthcare providers, advocacy organizations, and local businesses.
  • Develop and facilitate culturally sensitive workshops and trainings related to LGBTQ+ mental health and wellness.
  • Stay current on emerging research, best practices, and policy considerations impacting LGBTQ+ communities.
  • Assist with marketing, outreach, and educational efforts to promote the LGBTQ+ Services Program.
  • Ensure ethical, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and person-centered care across all services.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Associate or fully licensed mental health professional (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LMHC-A, LMFT, LMFT-A, LPC, or equivalent).
  • Strong clinical experience, training, or demonstrated passion for working with LGBTQ+ individuals and communities.
  • Prior leadership, supervisory, mentorship, or program development experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of culturally responsive, affirming, and trauma-informed therapeutic practices.
  • Experience designing and facilitating workshops, trainings, or educational programming preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and inspire others.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and client-centered care.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance clinical and leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals and communities.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and cultural competency.
  • Experience with program development and management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay

The position offers a competitive compensation package aligned with the Center of Excellence (CoE) Compensation Model.
