About the Role
Pillars of Wellness is seeking a passionate and culturally responsive clinician to serve as the Immigration Services Program Lead. This role is ideal for a provider who is deeply committed to supporting immigrant, refugee, asylum-seeking, and culturally diverse populations while leading and expanding a specialized immigration-focused mental health program.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and grow the Immigration Services Program
- Provide leadership to Immigration Services Specialists
- Support program development
- Facilitate group consultations
- Strengthen relationships with community organizations, legal advocates, schools, healthcare systems, and other partners serving immigrant communities
- Maintain a reduced caseload, providing culturally sensitive, evidence-based therapeutic services and immigration psychological evaluations when appropriate
- Balance clinical work with program innovation, team development, and service expansion
- Shape and expand a growing specialty program
- Mentor clinicians
- Recruit, mentor, and support Immigration Services Specialists and team members within the CoE framework
- Oversee and delegate program-related tasks, including outreach, education, coordination, and training efforts
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, immigration attorneys, schools, healthcare providers, advocacy groups, and other key partners
- Develop and facilitate workshops and trainings related to culturally sensitive care, immigration-related mental health concerns, and trauma-informed practices
- Ensure ethical, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care across all program services
- Stay current on emerging research, immigration-related mental health trends, and best practices for serving culturally diverse populations
- Aid in marketing, outreach, and educational efforts to promote the Immigration Services Program
Qualifications
- Associate or fully licensed mental health professional (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LMHC-A, LMFT, LMFT-A, LPC, or equivalent)
- Experience and/or specialized training in working with immigrant, refugee, asylum-seeking, or culturally diverse populations
- Prior leadership, supervisory, mentoring, or program development experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and inspire others
- Strong understanding of culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and person-centered care
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with agency leadership and community partners
- Experience developing and facilitating trainings, workshops, or educational programming preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance clinical and leadership responsibilities
- Passion for expanding access to culturally sensitive mental health services and advocating for underserved populations
Skills
