Leveraged Finance Attorney
About the role
Leveraged finance attorneys are needed to work on assignments with some of Latitude’s leading law firm clients. Applicants should have significant law firm experience representing lenders and/or borrowers/sponsors in leveraged finance transactions.
Responsibilities
- Represent lenders and/or borrowers/sponsors in leveraged finance transactions, including LBOs and acquisition financings
- Work with credit facilities, credit agreements, security agreements, guarantees, intercreditor agreements, collateral packages, syndicated lending transactions, refinancings, recapitalizations, and amendments
- Have a strong understanding of asset finance, structured finance, fund finance, or other complex banking and finance transactions
- Step into sophisticated finance matters with minimal ramp-up
Requirements
- 5+ years of leveraged finance experience representing lenders and/or borrowers/sponsors, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm
- Excellent academic credentials
- Outstanding references
- Licensed and in good standing in state of residence
Position Details For The Leveraged Finance Attorney (Remote)
- Type of Role: Engagement
- Schedule: Flexible (full-time, part-time or anywhere in-between)
- Location: Remote
- Compensation: The annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $249,600 to $312,000 when calculated on a full-time basis.
- Pay for contract roles is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate's preference (each candidate's pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate's competitiveness for the position).
- Benefits: Benefits-eligible Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
