About the role
We are seeking a Finance Attorney to join our growing transactional practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level attorney who wants to build a diverse finance practice with meaningful client contact, sophisticated transactions, and long-term growth potential within a collaborative regional platform.
Responsibilities
- Represent banks, financial institutions, borrowers, and other business clients in a broad range of financing transactions, including:
- Asset-based lending
- Commercial lending and secured finance
- 501(c)(3) financings
- Healthcare-related financings
- Public/private infrastructure financings
- Loan documentation and transaction structuring
- Due diligence and closing coordination
- Drafting and negotiating credit agreements, security documents, guarantees, and related financing documents
- Advising lenders and borrowers throughout the lifecycle of complex financing transactions
- Depending on experience, work on:
- Municipal and tax-exempt financings
- New Markets Tax Credit transactions
- Low-Income Housing Tax Credit transactions
- Historic Tax Credit transactions
- Other tax-advantaged or public finance matters
Requirements
- 2–4+ years of substantive finance experience
- Experience representing banks or other financial institutions in complex financings
- Background in commercial lending, secured finance, or asset-based lending
- Experience in a midsize or large law firm environment
- Exposure to healthcare, nonprofit, infrastructure, or public finance transactions is highly desirable
- Municipal finance, tax-exempt finance, or tax credit experience is a plus
- Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in developing client relationships
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Pennsylvania Bar admission or eligibility to become admitted

$140,000 - $220,000 per year
