Leveraged Finance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Assisting the deal team in the due diligence process for new cash flow transactions, inclusive of both financial and qualitative due diligence.
• Preparing pre-screen memos and credit approval documents for presentation to credit committee.
• Preparing financial models.
• Aiding in the closing process on new transactions.
• Managing and ongoing monitoring of portfolio accounts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent work experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in leveraged finance at a commercial bank, investment bank or finance company with strong commercial credit experience.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with financial statement modeling.
• Experience underwriting middle market cash flow transactions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a formalized credit training program is preferred but not required.

Pay

The estimated salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $115,00.00. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

Schedule

This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule, combining remote and in-office work. The position is based in either Stamford, CT or New York, NY.
