About the role
The Legal Technologist will configure, administer, and optimize legal technology and AI-enabled solutions that support attorneys and legal professionals across the firm.
Responsibilities
- Configure, customize, and maintain legal technology and AI-enabled platforms
- Create templates, forms, workflows, rule sets, and user interfaces
- Translate legal and business requirements into technical solutions
- Perform testing and quality assurance for upgrades, enhancements, and integrations
- Provide troubleshooting and day-to-day support for legal technology platforms
- Administer systems, manage user access, and coordinate with vendors and IT teams
- Maintain platform performance through updates and ongoing optimization
- Document configurations, standards, and change management procedures
- Partner with attorneys and legal staff to identify technology needs
- Deliver user training and provide guidance on platform functionality
- Support adoption of new tools and best practices
- Research emerging legal technology, automation, and AI solutions
- Recommend process improvements that increase efficiency and client value
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Some years of experience in legal technology, legal operations, legal IT, or configuration engineering
- Experience configuring at least two legal technology platforms such as RelativityOne, HighQ, eBrevia, Avvoka, or Opus 2
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 including SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, and Teams
- Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate preferred
- Understanding of ESI processing and document review workflows
- Strong technical skills in workflow automation, data mapping, form design, UI configuration, testing, and QA
- Familiarity with APIs, scripting, or low-code tools is a plus
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively

Pay
$115,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience, training, skills, qualifications, and other market factors
