Responsibilities
- Serve as the Recurring Work/Preventative Maintenance Program Manager overseeing the effective development, implementation and operation of in-house labor PWD's.
- Meet with supported command's points of contact to explain, discuss program functions, costs, benefits, and account issues.
- Conduct site inspections, resolve complex program problems and process deficiencies, and authorize program modifications with supervisor concurrence.
- Track overall development for the Recurring Work/Preventative Maintenance Program in order to assess statistics and cost analysis of executed versus emergency and service calls.
Requirements
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
- New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
Qualifications
- Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Reading and understanding contract plans, specifications and drawings and proposing cost effective solutions to problems encountered;
- Developing and presenting written and oral technical and non-technical information;
- Analyzing and evaluating work for repair, maintenance and construction;
- Reading blueprints/construction drawings and locating component parts required for identification/action for preventative maintenance tasks;
- Utilizing knowledge of ICAP data maintenance procedures and interpreting data to understand equipment priorities and establish Reliability Centered Maintenance strategies.
