Legal Technologist

Responsibilities

  • Support the firm’s legal tech infrastructure, including case management system (Smart Advocate), workflow automation and AI platforms.
  • Evaluate new tools and make recommendations that align with business objectives.
  • Configure systems, workflows, permissions, dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Manage software upgrades, implementations and integrations.
  • Be the main point of contact for legal tech related issues and enhancements.
  • Collaborate on training programs for attorneys, paralegals, intake and operational teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting legal technology, business systems, or enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of project management and business process improvement.
  • Prior experience working with software implementations and system administration.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Experience working within a law firm or legal services environment, preferred.
  • Experience with a legal case management platform (Smart Advocate, Needles, Litify, Clio, Filevine, etc.), preferred.
