Legal Secretary

About the Role

Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a well-established law firm seeking an experienced Executive Legal Secretary to support its Litigation Group. This role provides comprehensive administrative support to multiple attorneys and is a direct hire, full-time opportunity. The position offers one remote day per week following a 90-day introductory period.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, proofread, and format litigation documents; manage state and federal e-filings
• Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and electronic files; support attorneys with time-sensitive matters
• Prepare trial materials including binders, exhibits, and notebooks
• Coordinate client matters, meetings, billing, travel, and expenses
• Assist with new matters, conflict checks, attorney admissions, CLEs, and research
• Collaborate with litigation support teams and provide backup coverage as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 7+ years' experience supporting commercial or complex litigation as a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant (mid-to-large firm preferred)
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures, including ECF and Alabama e-filing
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and complex legal document formatting
• Experience with document management, billing, and expense platforms
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
