Legal Secretary

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to attorneys.
• Prepare, format, proofread, and edit legal correspondence and other legal documents.
• Manage complex attorney calendars, meetings, and scheduling requests.
• Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements.
• Assist with attorney billing, time entry, and related administrative tasks.
• Handle high volumes of emails, calls, and requests while managing competing priorities.
• Prepare presentations and client-facing materials.
• Collaborate with attorneys and business professionals across multiple practice groups.
• Support process improvement initiatives and leverage technology to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• 4+ years of legal secretarial, legal administrative assistant, or related experience within a law firm or professional services environment.
• Strong experience supporting multiple attorneys.
• Experience with billing and time-entry processes.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to client service.
