About the role
IST Management is seeking a Legal Records Clerk to join the Los Angeles team! The Legal Records Clerk will be responsible for providing on-site records management, and other administrative support services in a professional law firm environment.
Responsibilities
- Retrieving physical files from records room, filing documents
- Organize and manage all records and documents in an orderly manner
- Off-site Records Request Files, Send Files as requested
- Digital Records Scanning, Creating Hyperlinks, Indexing
- Office Services Assistance: Printing- receive and process print orders as requested, Copy- utilize copiers to reproduce documents and files with high sensitivity to confidentiality, file accordingly, Scan- Prepare documents for scanning by removing staples, paper clips, inserting cover sheet, counting, numbering, and identifying different document classifications; scan documents and files as requested
- Aid team members on site as needed to support client and site needs
- Take direction from supervisor or site manager
- Participate in cross-training
- Maintain all logs and reporting documentation with attention to detail; Adhere to all safety procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Prior records experience in a legal environment required; Customer service related experience preferred
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills
- Excellent organization and communication skills- both verbal and written; strong attention to detail
- Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
- Competency in performing multiple functional tasks
- Ability to meet employer's attendance policy
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Willingness to cross-train for other job functions

Hourly Compensation: $23.00-$25.00 DOE
