Legal QA Analyst

About the role

Long-term contract opportunity with a well-known Financial Services Company in Des Moines, IA (Onsite). Work with one of the largest financial institutions in the world, continuously innovating in today's digital age. Contract Duration: 18 Months.

Responsibilities

• Participate in or provide support for low complexity initiatives within Loan Workout
• Review basic or tactical issues, policies, or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained related to low-risk tasks and deliverables with narrower impact in Loan Workout
• Receive direction from supervisor and exercise judgment within defined parameters while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Provide information to client personnel in Loan Workout
• Look at physical legal docs to ensure that all items within doc are accurate, match corresponding paperwork, meet state requirements
• Test info before it's sent out to 3rd party legal partners
• Check notarization on documents
• May do judgement and complaint validations as needed

Required Qualifications

• 6+ months of Loan Workout or Commercial Lending experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
• 1+ year of relevant professional experience
• Basic MS systems (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Basic computer skills
• Understanding of credit cards

Preferred Qualifications

• Paralegal certification
• Knowledge of collection law
• Experience with litigation (specifically civil procedures)
• Experience as a Q/A analyst or (functionally acting as Q/A)
