Legal Operations Processor - Writs and Levies (Legal Services / Chief Operating Office)

Wells Fargo is seeking a Legal Operations Processor to support the Writs and Levies team in Legal Services within the Chief Operating Office (COO).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal and external business partners
  • Negotiate with external business partners to assure resolutions and deadlines are met
  • Perform moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support tasks
  • Provide training to less experienced Operational Legal Specialists
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing knowledge of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Escalate non-routine questions to supervisor
  • Improve customer service experience and determine proper course of action based on business partners' needs
  • Support various operational tasks relating to subpoenas, levies, and other legal documents representing Wells Fargo

Requirements

  • 1+ year of Legal Operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Experience consolidating large amounts of project status information to identify key risks, customer impact, financial implications, delays, and issues that may pose material risk
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated experience facilitating communication with all levels of employees, including management
  • Experience analyzing statutes, working with rules and procedures, and processing filings within multiple jurisdictions
  • Financial services experience
  • Experience with Wells Fargo Writs and Levies processes and procedures
  • Demonstrated leadership experience including directing employee activities, performance management, career development, coaching, mentoring, and succession planning
  • Demonstrated workforce management experience including capacity planning, forecasting, measurements, and process improvement
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams) skills
  • Advanced Wells Fargo programs, systems, and tools skills such as Hogan and 1LLG

Job Expectations

  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
  • Adhere to standards outlined in written policy as well as applicable State and Federal regulations
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location(s) on the job opening

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:45pm (hybrid)
