Legal, Legal Strategy Management & Operations, Senior Analyst, New York City
Overview
The Legal Division is seeking a highly organized and analytical professional to support strategic operations, budgeting, and key business initiatives. This role will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, helping drive execution of divisional priorities, manage operational processes, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives. The position offers significant exposure to Managing Directors and senior stakeholders across the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Support strategic and operational initiatives across the Legal Division
- Manage budgets, reporting, expense tracking, and related operational processes
- Prepare presentations, briefing materials, and executive communications for senior leadership
- Attend meetings on behalf of leadership, coordinate follow-up actions, and drive accountability across multiple workstreams
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues and ensure timely execution of priorities
- Lead and support special projects, research, analysis, and process improvement initiatives
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and improve controls
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, Experience in business management, operations, legal administration, finance, project management, or a related field, Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and interact effectively with senior stakeholders
- Preferred Qualifications: 1-3 years of experience in a legal, professional services, or corporate environment, Experience supporting senior executives or business leaders, Familiarity with budgeting, financial reporting, and operational management
