Responsibilities
- Evaluate the relevance or responsiveness of legal data based on knowledge of case facts and applicable laws.
- Maintain and organize a variety of legal documents, including electronically stored information in databases, Excel spreadsheets, emails, and other formats.
- Conduct detailed, page-by-page reviews of legal documents and evidence.
- Analyze and organize information into manual files and electronic databases for final legal review.
- Summarize, tab, highlight, chart, and collect pertinent documents or information gleaned from evidence.
- Create discovery listings and maintain privilege and redaction logs.
- Assess documents to determine if they qualify as privileged under client-attorney communication or as a work product.
- Edit or redact sensitive content as needed.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED
- At least one year of experience within the legal field in a clerical office setting
