Legal Client Acquisition Specialist

As a Legal Client Acquisition Specialist, you will bring this mission to life by building trust with prospective clients, assessing their needs, and guiding them through the intake process. You will gather key case information, evaluate potential claims, and convert qualified leads into retained clients. This role is well suited for professionals with experience in sales, client relations, customer success, or business development who are passionate about making a meaningful impact. The ideal candidate is an empathetic communicator with strong listening skills, a client-first mindset, and the ability to build rapport while confidently guiding prospective clients toward informed decisions about legal representation.
Responsibilities
- Convert qualified leads into signed cases by building trust, clearly explaining next steps, and meeting or exceeding conversion goals.
- Answer inbound calls, emails, and online inquiries from prospective clients.
- Conduct initial intake interviews to gather relevant facts, identify client needs, and evaluate eligibility based on firm guidelines.
- Promptly follow up with leads to strengthen client engagement, increase retention, and maximize conversion opportunities.
- Accurately document client information using legal case management software (e.g., Litify).
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all legal, ethical, and firm standards.
- Provide client satisfaction by welcoming prospective clients and answering questions.
- Schedule in-office appointments (IOA) between prospective clients and attorneys.
Requirements
- One to three years of experience in sales, client relations, customer success, or business development role.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies or Business Administration.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and case management software.
- Strong active listening, empathy, attention to detail, decision-making, organization, and time management skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish fluency) is a plus.
