Responsibilities

• General litigation and insurance defense (construction litigation experience preferred).
• Provide excellent customer service with a client-first mindset.
• Manage attorney calendars, scheduling, time capture, and drafting legal documents (e.g., standardized letters, pleadings, reports).
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
• Work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Follow up on tasks, maintain organization, and ensure attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Knowledge of Florida Court procedures, e-Service, and e-Filing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an Insurance Defense Legal Assistant.
• Prior experience managing attorney calendars, scheduling, time capture, and drafting legal documents.
• Working knowledge of Florida Court procedures, e-Service, and e-Filing.
• Highly organized with clear and concise communication skills.
• Self-starter, goal-oriented, and task-driven.
