Legal Assistant
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare initial drafts of discovery documents and pleadings using templates
- Electronically file documents in state and federal courts
- Update client systems
- Assist attorneys with court hearing and trial preparation
- May perform other duties as assigned to support department goals
- May occasionally work extended hours based on operational needs
Qualifications
- Ability to learn our firm’s file management system and client systems
- 1-2 years prior law office experience preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows
- General knowledge of office equipment
Work Schedule
This is a 100% office position requiring your physical presence Monday through Friday, with business hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Pay Range
The pay for this position typically ranges from $17.00-$20.00/hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and other factors. Please note that the final offer may differ based on the candidate's specific qualifications, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity and business needs.
