Legal Administrator

The PACS Services division provides technology and administrative support—including accounting, finance, HR, compliance, payroll, AR/AP, legal, risk management, IT, and corporate communications—to reduce administrative burdens for healthcare facilities.
About the role
PACS is seeking a junior-level legal administrator to provide litigation administrative support to the Employment Practices Legal team. This in-office position is based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial intake of cases, including creation of case in Legal Tracker, assignment to appropriate case manager, and coordination with relevant business contact.
- Collect and produce responsive documentation related to demand letters, subpoenas, and discovery requests through communications with internal stakeholders.
- Generate regularly scheduled client reports, status updates, and ad-hoc reporting as required by project parameters or upon request.
- Assist attorneys in drafting responses to administrative case claims and charges (EEOC, DOL, DIR, CCRD) and attend DIR hearings.
- Monitor and support case management activity, escalating issues and deadlines to case manager as appropriate.
- Handle other administrative projects as outlined by supervisor.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a corporate setting managing data entry and/or supporting high-volume document management.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience as a litigation assistant, legal administrator, or junior paralegal in a law office or in-house legal team.
- Desire to earn a paralegal certificate is a plus.
