About the role
The Department of School of Education at California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an ongoing basis for its pool of part-time lecturers. Applicant pools are used to fill short-term temporary Lecturer positions across the campus.
Responsibilities
This position involves teaching courses in the School of Education. Duties include:
- Developing and delivering high-quality educational content to students.
- Maintaining student engagement and providing feedback.
- Evaluating student performance and providing constructive feedback.
- Participating in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
- A master's degree in curriculum and instruction or a closely related field.
Preferred qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate intercultural competence and a commitment to serving the campus community.
Salary and benefits
Salary commensurate with degree level and experience. The anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience.

This pool will be closed effective May 31st. If you wish to be considered for the next academic year, you will need to apply to the new pool as it becomes available by June 15th.
