Lecturer Pool - Public Health AY 2026/27

California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an ongoing basis for part-time lecturer positions in the Department of Public Health. Appointments may last from one day to a full semester and are used to fill short-term, temporary vacancies as needed throughout the 2026/27 academic year. This applicant pool is valid until May 31st, 2027.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Public Health or a closely related field (required).
• Terminal degree in Public Health or a closely related field (preferred).
• Demonstrated intercultural competence and commitment to serving the campus community through teaching and service (preferred).

Per the California State University’s Out-of-State Employment Policy, employment is contingent upon working in the State of California.

Pay

Monthly salary ranges for the Lecturer – Academic Year classification:

• Lecturer A: $5,507 – $6,677 per full-time month
• Lecturer B: $6,221 – $13,224 per full-time month

The anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience.
