THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Economics offers courses at both the undergraduate (BS Economics, BSBA) and graduate (MBA) levels in microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, and a variety of subfields.
DUTIES OF THE POSITION
- Teaching one or more introductory and/or advanced courses in Economics.
- Courses may include those taught at the Hayward campus, Concord Center, and/or online.
- Comply with the policy and expectation of the California State University regarding all faculty members performing duties within the state of California.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Degree Requirement: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in business or economics.
- Ph.D. in economics preferred.
- Preferred degree from AACSB accredited institution.
- Professional experience at the time of appointment that is significant in duration and level of responsibility, and consistent with area of teaching responsibilities.
- For research Ph.D., a current research record in the teaching field is required.
- ABDs must have completed exams in the last three years.
