Lecturer-Pool Faculty of Communication Studies - 2 Positions to be filled

This position is for the Fall 2026 semester.

About the role

Lecturer-Pool faculty are expected to teach one to four online courses per semester, based on departmental needs. The primary teaching assignment will consist of graduate courses, which may include:

• Advanced Interpersonal Communication
• Advanced Communication Theory
• Other graduate electives listed in the Graduate Catalog

Depending on departmental needs and candidate qualifications, teaching assignments may also include undergraduate communication courses. Appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis and are contingent upon student enrollment and instructional demand.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Communication Studies
• Demonstrated successful college-level online teaching experience
• Experience teaching graduate-level communication courses in an online environment (preferred)
