Department Psychology and Philosophy Part Time, Non-Tenure Track Open until filled: Yes Requisition number: 202600134F Usual Duties Lecturer-Pool faculty are term positions hired to teach one to four courses per semester. Capacity to teach Introduction to Philosophy, Critical Thinking, and Contemporary Moral Issues is required, but ability to teach Philosophy of Science will be regarded favorably. Course requirements may include a combination of teaching on-campus classes at the main campus in Huntsville, on-campus classes at the Woodlands Center, and online classes, depending on the needs of the academic department. Lecturer-Pool faculty hiring is based on student demand, and is determined on a semester-by-semester basis. Degree Requirements Requires a minimum of a masters degree in a related field for lower-level course offerings; PhD is preferred for upper division seminars Experience Requirements Teaching experience preferred.
