Lecturer Pool - Electrical and Computer Engineering AY 2026/27
California State University San Marcos invites applications on an ongoing basis for part-time lecturer positions in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering. Appointments may range from one day to a full semester and are used to fill short-term temporary vacancies as needed throughout the 2026/27 academic year. This applicant pool is valid only for the current academic year and will close on May 31st.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering or computer science, or
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer science with multiple years of industry engineering practice

Pay
Anticipated hiring salary range: $5,507 – $6,008 per full-time month. The full salary schedule for the Lecturer – Academic Year classification is:
- Lecturer A – AY: $5,507 – $6,677 per full-time month
- Lecturer B – AY: $6,221 – $13,224 per full-time month
The anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience.
