Lecturer Pool - Computer Science and Engineering AY 2026/27

California State University San Marcos invites applications on an ongoing basis for part-time lecturer positions in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. This pool is used to fill short-term temporary appointments ranging from one day to a full semester, as needed throughout the 2026/27 academic year. Applications are valid only for the current academic year and will close on May 31st.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science or software engineering, or
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science with multiple years of software engineering practice in industry

Pay

Anticipated hiring salary range: $5,507 – $6,677 per full-time month. Salary is commensurate with degree level and experience, generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range.

• Lecturer A – Academic Year: $5,507 – $6,677 per full-time month
• Lecturer B – Academic Year: $6,221 – $13,224 per full-time month
