The College of Information at the University of Maryland, College Park (INFO) invites applications for full-time, professional track (PTK) lecturers.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the field of information science, technology, or design.
- Developing innovative teaching methods and materials that enhance student learning outcomes.
- Engaging with students, colleagues, and the broader academic community through research, service, and professional development activities.
- Maintaining current knowledge in the field and staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies.
Requirements
Requirements include:
- A master's degree in information science, technology, or a related field.
- At least three years of relevant teaching experience at the university level.
- Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom and beyond.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with faculty, staff, and students.
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
- Experience with online and hybrid course delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and a willingness to engage with students from diverse backgrounds.
Skills
Skills include:
- Proficiency in using educational technology tools and platforms.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
- Ability to mentor and support graduate students.
