Lecturer of Real Estate - Department of Finance
About the role
The Department of Finance in the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business at Clemson University invites applications for three full time (nine months), non-tenure track positions. The preferred candidates are expected to be hired as Lecturers.
Responsibilities
- Teaching four (4) in-person courses each semester (fall and spring) at the undergraduate level for courses such as Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Investment Analysis, Financial Markets and Institutions, Principles of Real Estate, and/or other classes based on areas of expertise.
- Typically include two to three preps and may vary across semesters.
- Making service contributions to the department, Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business, and Clemson University.
Qualifications
- A master’s or terminal degree in finance or a related field (e.g., Master of Business Administration).
- Potential for excellence in teaching, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to teach a variety of finance classes at the undergraduate level.
Benefits
The compensation package includes benefits. The position is term-limited and renewable annually based on performance and availability of funding.
Pay
The salary range is not specified but is commensurate with experience.

The start date is August 15, 2026.
