About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Lecturer to join our highly successful science department at Suffolk New College. The role involves supporting learners on our HE Access Science and L3 BTEC in Forensics and Criminology courses.

Responsibilities

• Support learners on our HE Access Science and L3 BTEC in Forensics and Criminology courses.
• Teach up to 24 hours per week, including preparation and other duties.
• Work 35 hours per week, 52 weeks a year.
• Based at Suffolk New College Ipswich Campus, with the possibility of working at other campuses.

Requirements

• An academic background and strong understanding of science.
• Organised, motivated, and passionate about the success of students.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree in a science-related field.
• Experience in teaching and supporting learners in higher education.
