Leave of Absence Administrator (HR)

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer FMLA, ADA, PFML, state leave, military, jury duty, workers' compensation, parental, and STD programs.
  • Manage leave cases from intake through return-to-work.
  • Determine eligibility and issue required notices and documentation.
  • Track leave durations, intermittent leave, extensions, and return-to-work dates.
  • Cookordinate overlapping leave programs and disability claims.
  • Facilitate ADA interactive process and accommodations.
  • Monitor compliance with federal and state leave laws across 17 states.
  • Educate employees and managers regarding leave rights and responsibilities.
  • Cookordinate with Payroll, Benefits, HR, and third-party administrators.

Requirements

  • Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
    • Leave Administration, Compliance, Case Management, customer service, confidentiality, organization, problem-solving, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience supporting organizations with 1,000+ employees.
  • Knowledge of multiple state PFML programs.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state leave regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 - 5+ years administering FMLA, ADA, and multi-state leave programs.
  • Experience managing STD claims and disability vendors.
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, CEBS, etc.) preferred.

Pay

Base Salary: $70,000 - $75,000

Schedule

A hybrid work schedule with three days per week in the Taunton office and two remote workdays.
