About the role
Greystar is a leading, fully integrated global real estate platform offering expertise in property management, investment management, development, and construction services in institutional-quality rental housing. The Leasing Professional role is based in Tuxedo, New York.
Responsibilities
- Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, show apartments, process applications, credit screen, and perform criminal background checks.
- Prepare lease and move-in packages, ensure smooth move-ins, and address any outstanding items with the maintenance team.
- Stay informed about market conditions, develop and implement marketing plans, and follow policies related to concessions, specials, and other programs to boost occupancy.
- Create and execute marketing activities, including resident referral and employer outreach programs, and use internet marketing tools.
- Track apartment availability, record leasing activities, manage resident data, and ensure show units meet quality standards.
- Follow up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction, send thank-you notes, and make calls or contacts to finalize lease signings.
- Support the lease renewal program by preparing renewal letters and packages, meeting with renewing residents, and ensuring timely implementation of lease renewal documents.
- Respond to resident and client inquiries promptly and take prompt action to solve problems or document requests.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
- Rare or regular travel may be required to assist other properties.
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in sales and customer service preferred.
- Knowledge of leasing processes and apartment management systems.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
The hourly range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00.
