About the role
Greystar is a leading real estate platform managing and operating over $300 billion of real estate in more than 265 markets globally. This position is located in Doral, Florida and is responsible for leasing activities in a stabilized Garden community with 454 units.
Responsibilities
- Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, show apartments, process applications, conduct credit screenings, and perform criminal background checks.
- Prepare lease and move-in packages, ensure smooth move-ins, and address any outstanding maintenance items with the maintenance team.
- Develop and implement marketing plans to sustain occupancy, including resident referral and employer outreach programs, internet marketing, and follow community-specific marketing plans.
- Use on-site property management software to track apartment availability, record leasing activities, manage resident data, and ensure show units meet quality standards.
- Communicate with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction through follow-ups, including e-mails, thank-you notes, and phone calls.
- Execute lease renewal programs by preparing letters and packages, meeting with renewing residents, and ensuring timely implementation of lease renewal documents.
- Respond promptly and courteously to resident and client inquiries, and take prompt action to resolve issues.
Requirements
- All required licenses and certifications as per state and local jurisdictions.
- Valid driver's license for operating a golf cart on property.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb, reach, carry up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
- Experience in property management or similar field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.).
