Leasing Professional

About the role

As a Leasing Professional at Amalgamated Management Corporation, you will be the first point of contact with prospective residents, current residents, vendors, and associates. You will tour, qualify, and sell the property’s features, manage the leasing, closing, and move-in process, and foster positive relationships with customers. This role requires high energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to exceeding resident expectations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for prospective residents, current residents, vendors, and associates.
• Tour, qualify, and sell the property’s features to prospective and current residents.
• Manage the leasing, closing, and move-in process for new and current residents.
• Determine customer needs, resolve issues, or escalate to higher levels as needed.
• Build and nurture relationships with customers while diffusing and resolving difficult situations.
• Perform administrative tasks, including managing lease files, updating paperwork, and completing marketing/advertising tasks.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in a Leasing position (preferred).
• 1 year of experience in a Customer Service position (required).
• Strong administrative and computer skills.
• Customer-friendly personality with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
