About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Leasing + Marketing Specialist to join our team at Parkstead Watertown at City Center, a professionally managed multi-family community in Watertown, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Establish new relationships with prospects, maintain continuous communication to identify their needs, and close sales to convert them into residents.
  • Conduct tours, show apartments, encourage qualified prospects to apply, and assist with the application process.
  • Manage incoming calls and ensure model apartments or vacant units are ready for showings.
  • Follow up on leads regularly and prepare necessary move-in/move-out packets and paperwork.
  • Maintain unit leasing to meet or exceed budget and prepare required weekly/monthly reports for stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans to achieve occupancy goals, including campaigns, programs, and events.
  • Assist in creating advertising and marketing materials (e.g., letters, newsletters, flyers, brochures) and lease/move-in packages.
  • Perform outreach marketing in the surrounding community and establish relationships with local business partners.
  • Enhance property branding through cutting-edge marketing campaigns and on-site promotional events.
  • Conduct research on competitive properties, prepare quarterly market studies, and analyze marketability of unit rates, advertising, and amenities.
  • Use social media tools to increase exposure, brand awareness, and client loyalty.
  • Assist residents with needs such as work orders, key access, and emergency assistance.
  • Support all phases of rent collection and the rent manager program.
  • Communicate issues or potential problems to the Property Manager and/or Maintenance team.
  • Plan, assist with, and support on-site resident events and programming.
  • Handle on-site emergencies and recommend purchases for supplies, materials, or equipment as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with related work experience in sales, real estate, and/or property management.
  • 1+ years of experience in multi-family, lease-up real estate or property management software (e.g., Entrata, Yardi, or similar).
  • Exceptional communication and sales skills.
  • Ability to work with the active adult/senior demographic.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for resident, maintenance, and challenging situations.
  • Demonstrated personal and professional integrity.

Pay

$17.80 per hour plus a bonus program.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (weekends and evenings as needed for outreach events).
