Leasing Consultant- Parc at Princeton Junction

Parc at Princeton Junction Apartments in Princeton, NJ is seeking a motivated Leasing Consultant to serve as the property’s sales representative.

About the role

The Leasing Consultant greets prospects, professionally presents the community’s features and benefits, conducts apartment tours, and secures lease agreements from qualified applicants. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, possesses exceptional communication skills, and ensures current residents feel welcome and comfortable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage every aspect of the leasing process with prospective tenants.
  • Demonstrate the highest level of customer service to future tenants and current residents.
  • Guide clients on tours, the application process, and close sales to maximize occupancy.
  • Offer additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and revenue.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospective and current client history.
  • Respond to phone, email, and in-person inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Address resident concerns and requests with a positive customer service attitude.
  • Assist the Property Manager in coordinating property maintenance and repairs.
  • Conduct regular community inspections to ensure appearance and note needed repairs.
  • Assist the Property Manager with training on-site staff to meet operational goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong sales and/or leasing experience.
  • High-level interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to maintain high energy, friendly demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to perform entry to intermediate level mathematic functions independently.
  • National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) certification desired.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office; typing at least 30 words per minute.
  • Yardi experience a plus.
  • Achieve Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends if requested.
  • Conduct all business in accordance with company policies, Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA.
  • Abide by all federal, state, and local laws pertaining to apartments and property management.

Pay
