About the role
As a Leasing Consultant, you will integrate your customer service, sales, and marketing skills to support our mission while leasing our apartment homes to interested customers. Manage your own success by attaining leasing goals and building rapport with customers and residents. Responsibilities
- Lease the community
- Market the community
- Maintain positive resident satisfaction and retention
- Maintain general office organization
- Communicate with customers, residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and CWS team members
- Participate in the CWS Risk Management and Safety Programs
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Knowledge of on-site management operations, customer service experience, and Yardi software experience (preferred)
- Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance (required)
- Sales and customer service experience (required)
- Able to adhere to a set and variable work schedule, including weekends and emergencies
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Able to maintain a professional and ethical atmosphere
- Able to perform work responsibilities at locations other than “home” property
- Able to travel within major metropolitan areas and may be required to attend company functions in other cities

Work Environment
Work is performed in both office and field environments within residential apartment communities. The position requires frequent interaction with residents, prospective residents, vendors, and team members in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. It may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions while conducting property tours and inspections.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent walking of the apartment community, including model units, vacant apartments, and common areas while conducting tours and assisting residents and prospective residents
- Standing, sitting, bending, reaching, and climbing stairs
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
- Work performed in both office and outdoor environments with frequent customer interaction
