About the Role
The Scion Group operates student housing communities across the country, and The Thompson in San Marcos, Texas sits in a market shaped by Texas State University. - Helping plan and run resident engagement events
- Supporting social media content
- Keeping the office and amenity spaces in presentable shape
- Package logging and maintenance request follow-up
- Rotating through on-call shifts, including lockout calls
Requirements

- Comfort working in an environment where priorities shift quickly, especially around turn season and move-in
- Availability during summers, holidays, and turn periods when traffic peaks
- Reliability and self-discipline in a role that involves both independent tasks and team coordination
- A customer-first approach, not just during tours but in every interaction on-site
- Ability to read a situation, adjust, and stay composed when the leasing office gets loud
- Prior experience in student housing or property management helps, but the requirements center more on attitude and availability than a specific resume line
- Current U.S. work authorization required; visa sponsorship is not offered
