Leasing Consultant

About the role

AvalonBay Communities, Inc., an equity REIT, seeks a dedicated and highly organized Leasing Consultant to join our team at one of our apartment communities. This role involves driving the leasing process, ensuring residents experience luxury living, and fostering a sense of community.

Responsibilities

• Customize tours to meet individual preferences, from floorplans to local dining options.
• Create a sense of community and go the extra mile to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Reach out with tailored updates to prospective residents, highlighting features and amenities.
• Work weekends, particularly Saturdays, to maximize engagement with potential residents.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• 1-2 years of experience in a leasing or customer service role, preferably in real estate or property management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Pay

Total Base Pay Range: $42,500.00 - $60,000.00

Schedule

Saturday availability is required.
