About the role
Axis Residential is seeking a relational and motivated Leasing Consultant for their new, 55 and older active adult, lease-up community—Affinity at Missoula. The Leasing Consultant will drive occupancy and build strong relationships with prospective and current residents.
Responsibilities
- Build rapport and engage with prospective and current residents through phone calls, emails, walk-ins, and appointments.
- Collect and update prospect information in the sales management system.
- Conduct personalized tours based on resident needs and interests.
- Follow up with prospects through phone calls, personalized next steps, Sales Mail, notes, etc.
- Coordinate depositor-related creative follow-up and engagement.
- Host and participate in onsite community events for residents and prospects.
- Support the community by building strategic partnerships with businesses, service providers, and senior housing communities.
- Coordinate and participate in offsite sales and marketing events.
- Track apartment availability, record traffic and leasing activities, and manage resident and prospect data.
- Evaluate and shop competitors quarterly.
- Complete and maintain all required documents for resident and property files.
- Report any irregularities or maintenance needs to the Community Director.
- Ensure all online advertisements and postings are accurate and up-to-date.
- Perform routine inspections of the grounds, buildings, and model apartment homes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred experience in residential property management, retail, sales, or customer service.
- Excellent communication skills, including speaking, reading, and writing in English.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office, property management software, and CRM solutions.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
- Valid driver's license and insured, operable vehicle.
