Responsibilities
- Support the Community Manager by achieving occupancy and rental goals.
- Maintain a closing percentage of at least 30%.
- Respond to phone inquiries and conduct property tours.
- Affirmatively market the property through advertising and other channels.
- Aid in the preparation and administration of leasing activities and rental traffic reports.
- Assist in conducting market studies.
- Manage resident relations, handle complaints, and oversee rent collections.
- Serve as a supervisor in the absence of the Community Manager, directing staff to promote teamwork.
- Ensure the property is maintained in a neat, clean, and well-maintained condition.
- Conduct daily exterior and interior inspections to maintain curb appeal, cleanliness, and adherence to safety procedures.
- Provide 24-hour emergency support to residents.
- Plan and participate in community activities and other projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required. Higher education preferred.
- 2-3 years of customer service or related experience. LIHTC experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
- If driving for company business, must have a valid driver's license, acceptable motor vehicle record, company insurance, reliable transportation, and the ability to be insurable at standard rates.
