About the role

The Amazon operations team is looking for Learning Trainers with a strong record of achieving results to join the expanding team supporting operations leaders and associates in delivering strong operations results within our fulfillment centers. Learning Trainer roles may include production duties as needed: pick/pack orders, receive/stow product, ensure inventory accuracy, and unload/load trucks. Lead Learning Trainers will also be responsible for communicating instructions to other associates, motivating them, and keeping their work areas safe.

Responsibilities

• Perform production duties such as picking/packing orders, receiving/stowing product, ensuring inventory accuracy, and unloading/loading trucks
• Communicate instructions to other associates
• Motivate associates and maintain safe work areas

Requirements

• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States
• Able to work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
• Able to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience

Work Environment

• Committed to providing a safe work environment; wearing a reflective vest, stretching, and recognizing others for working safely
• Relaxed, casual dress code (as long as attire meets safety requirements)
• Climate-controlled sites, but noise and temperature levels can vary day to day; hearing protection is available
• May be asked to work on a secure mezzanine at a height of up to 40 feet or on powered equipment (forklift, cherry picker, etc.)

Pay

Starting pay: $22.00 - $23.00 USD hourly (includes base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential depending on the shift selected). As a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses.
