About the role
The Online MBA (OMBA) program at Boston University's Questrom School of Business is an innovative program designed to offer an integrated graduate business curriculum to a global learning community. The Learning Facilitator plays a crucial role in this program, serving as a key member of the teaching team.
Responsibilities
- Work in a fast-paced virtual enrollment environment, regardless of time zone or location, with students, faculty, and staff from multiple geographies.
- Deliver high-quality instruction and support to a diverse student body.
- Collaborate with faculty, students, and third-party vendors to manage competing priorities.
- Mentor or coach peers and other teams as needed.
- Assist students with course content, demonstrating knowledge of business concepts including managerial economics, leadership, finance, ethics, data analysis, innovation, organizational behavior, risk, operations, etc.
Requirements
- Must possess a conferred master's degree (e.g., MBA, MBA equivalent, or related advanced management credential).
- A business-related graduate degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a delivery role such as teaching or project/product management.
- Self-motivated with a start-up mindset towards continuous improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer support skills.
- A collaborative, solution-oriented team player with a demonstrated track record of transparency and proactivity in meeting organizational goals.
- An effective communicator who is open to giving and receiving constructive feedback.
- Ability to effectively collaborate in a remote environment and quickly learn new tools and technologies.
- Experience working with multiple constituencies (faculty, students, colleagues, and third-party vendors).
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fluid environment.
Qualifications
- Must be familiar with business concepts including managerial economics, leadership, finance, ethics, data analysis, innovation, organizational behavior, risk, operations, etc.
- Willingness to learn and apply these concepts to assist students with course content.

Pay
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and internal pay comparison. The expected hiring range is from $71,700.00 to $90,000.00.
Schedule
The position is full-time and regular.
