About the Role
The Operations Learning and Development Senior Partner authors, develops, reviews, releases, and delivers curricula to all areas of the Operations Team in Duluth and Grand Forks locations. This role is responsible for developing learning and development standards, improving internal L&D processes, and executing deliverables aligned with the L&D annual operating plan. The Senior Partner enhances employee competencies by designing and conducting process and training programs to boost workplace performance, with a focus on hands-on development opportunities in manufacturing and line support functions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Operations leadership, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
- Facilitate onboarding of Operations employees.
- Coordinate Cirrus University technical resources, including the learning management system, compliance tracking, onboarding courses, and area-specific training plans.
- Facilitate and deliver development programs via classroom, webinar, or other virtual environments in an engaging manner inclusive of various adult learning styles.
- Consult subject matter experts to determine needs and elicit content.
- Develop and revise curricula related to Operational processes, lean manufacturing policies/procedures/best practices, and operational excellence in aerospace.
- Build annual training programs and prepare teaching plans.
- Design, develop, and produce training materials, including printed, visual, and electronic media.
- Develop eLearning curriculum and content using appropriate authoring tools.
- Deliver training content.
- Review and update content to reflect changes.
- Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills into employees' work behavior.
- Stay abreast of new trends and tools in employee development.
- Support administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), including enrolling users and assigning curriculum.
- Evaluate training needs, identify goals, and develop learning strategies and training plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in technical fields, training, learning and leadership development, or lean discipline.
- 4-7 years' experience in Learning and Development in Aerospace operations or manufacturing.
- Subject matter expert in instructional design theory and learning principles.
- Proven knowledge and experience with training methods, tools, and techniques for instructor-led, self-paced, virtual, face-to-face, synchronous, and asynchronous learning.
- In-depth knowledge of learning management software.
- Experience in talent management and succession planning.
- Proven competency transforming subject matter expert interviews into content.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret policies and procedures comprehensively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in MS Office software and broad knowledge of best practices for online and digital learning.
- Ability to use and develop others in Learning Management Systems.
- Proficiency in classroom training for both virtual and live environments.
- Ability to establish project plans, monitor progress, and ensure communication with project partners.
- Experience developing and executing needs assessments to deliver training content aligned with customer needs and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PTC Windchill.
- Experience with UKG LMS.
- Experience with one or more of the following software: iSeries, Solumina, ERP, Creo, Visio, Azure, Articulate 360, Canva.

Pay
Salary Range: USD $79,939.60/Yr. - USD $119,909.40/Yr.
