Purpose/Impact: (Duties & Essential Functions)
- Instructional Design + Training Facilitation – 60%
- Partner with the Sr. Director of Field Support, Technique and Brand Operations team to develop and implement training assets to ensure the development of studio owners and team.
- Apply research-based instructional design theories, practices and methodology to develop high performance, innovative training assets and experiences appropriate for studio audiences.
- Gather firsthand feedback from internal and external resources on all training events, tools and resources, and use feedback gathered appropriately to continuously improve and innovate training design and delivery.
- Establishes a measurement process and plan to continuously improve and innovate training design and delivery.
- Design, build, schedule, resource and facilitate training webinars and events for both franchise and corporate audiences; events could occasionally occur in-studio.
- Communication – 30%
- Strategy Development: Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive content strategies aligned with company objectives to enhance brand presence.
- Content Creation: Develop a framework the Bar Method team can use to create informative and engaging content across multiple channels, focusing on meeting the needs of our audience and driving engagement.
- Partners with the Brand Operations Manager to create a communications calendar to support all Franchisee communications, ensuring consistent, timely, and transparent messaging across the system.
- Helps coach and mentor other team members on communication framework to use and follow.
- Owes the franchisee-facing communication channels and continuously optimizes for clarity and engagement.
- Strategy and Leadership – 5%
- Design, develop, communicate and implement processes to enable the efficient development and delivery of training for Bar Method.
- Aid Bar Method leadership with the development of the annual training plan, budget and calendar of events to support the strategic plan and organizational objectives.
- Manage assigned training project and events to align with planned budget and priorities.
- Present regular status updates to leadership, monthly team updates, and as needed ad hoc updates for all projects underway.

- Technical Expertise: Depth of knowledge and skill in a technical area.

- 3+ years direct experience with end-to-end development and delivery of training to support large scale corporate / business initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to design and build engaging learning content for remote audiences – evergreen and live formats.
- Demonstrated results in training effectiveness and front-line adoption across a disperse audience.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects and design training to encourage effective change management.
- Demonstrated and recognized presentation and facilitation skills.
- Creative, out of the box thinking and problem solving skills.
- Strong strategic and tactical communication planning and execution skills.
- Comfortable dealing with uncertainty; demonstrated ability to create structure and prioritize work effectively.
- Excellent collaboration, leadership, communication and decision-making skills; ability to work in all phases of project development – strategy, implement, measure, improve.
- Ability to influence without authority; servant leadership mentality.

- Experience working in a franchise environment.

- Remote optional: Fridays
- On-site days: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
